There are programs out there that few people are aware of that may help significantly reduce the cost of your healthcare. We help you enroll into these programs and keep you enrolled as long as you qualify for them!
The help these programs provide can range from prescription assistance to help with your hospital bills.
Programs such as:
- A Federal program, Extra Help, that may reduce your Medicare prescription costs to $3.60 per prescription. This Extra Help can also help pay the monthly premium for you PDP or MAPD.
- PAAD is a state program, much like the Federal Extra Help program, that may also help reduce your Medicare Rx drug costs. This program may be for you if you could not qualify for Extra Help as PAAD has less stringent requirements. PAAD may also help with your PDP or MAPD monthly premium.
- A state program, SLMB, that may help pay, partially or fully, your Medicare Part B premium. That is the, approximately, $145 that is deducted from your Social Security check every month.
- We can also help you qualify for Charity Care, which can pay for part or the entirety of your hospital bills. Your income can be as high as $45,000/year and still qualify. **** Even if you have insurance, most of the time it will not cover the entire costs of you hospital visit. Charity Care can be a great relief if you have a fixed income.
- We know the that turning 65 can be a frustrating and confusing time. It may be difficult to keep track of all the different programs in which you are enrolled. We are here to help! We will fill out all necessary forms and questionnaires. We will keep track of your enrollment process for these programs every step of the way. And we will recertify you every year, or however often is necessary, so that you do not lose access to your benefits.
